Available Cavalier-type Puppies
Welcome to the puppy page! Here you can find available puppies from the Cavalier Improvement Project (CIP). Multiple U.S.-based breeders actively raise litters from health-tested parents in carefully planned outcross programs. In these programs, breeders intentionally blend other compatible breeds into Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) lines to increase genetic diversity, reduce inbreeding, and, as a result, improve overall health.
There are 3 ways you can participate. Pet owner, Guardian Home, Breeder.
Pet Home: You purchase a puppy that you fully own. The dog is your pet.
Guardian/ Co-Owner Home: You are given for free or a reduced cost purchase of a puppy that may end up as a breeding dog in the future. The breeder is co-owner of the dog and retains the breeding rights. The dog lives with you the majority of the time. Once the dog is done breeding the dog stays with you as the sole owner.
Breeder Home: You purchase a puppy that you use breed for the CIP project. You are responsible for the breeding plans and finding homes for the puppies.
CIP breeders place breeding-potential puppies in co-owner and breeder homes so that they can strengthen and expand the program for future generations. You can help the future of Cavaliers by participating as a guardian or co-owner. This project can only move forward by the generous support of co-owners and guardian homes.
Ultimately, the project depends on collaboration to rebuild a healthier, low-inbreeding CKCS-type dog, Therefore, broad participation plays a key role in its success. Turbo Cavaliers
Cavalier-type pups available from Turbo in Wisconsin. The breeder blends Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lines with Golden Retriever, Irish Setter, Coltrievers, and other compatible breeds. Additionally, Turbo raises litters from parents who complete CHIC OFA and DNA disease testing.
